You'll see the title of your current puzzle. If the hint gives you the answer, you know what to do, how to arrange the blocks, and solve the riddle. If not, you can use extra clues.
At the end of the game, the total number of clues you used to complete all 30 riddles becomes your anti-score. This is a game you can finish only once, so the number of hints you needed becomes your permanent result.
